JIMMY NELSON BOOK COVERS

Jimmy Nelson is a photographer that travels the world in search of
Tribes on the brink of extinction. He puts all his photos together in
one text. Instead of designing one book cover, a series was created to highlight three of the tribes. The books would be perfect for travel or photography enthusiasts to leave on their coffee tables.

The design of each cover is similar enough to be established as a series,
but different enough to stand on their own.  Patterns and textures were taken from their clothing and environment to create the transparencies
and geometric shapes on each cover. The word past is also cut out to
reveal materials in association to each tribe.
